I have not done alot of working out recently, in fact, I haven’t been able to have a really good, intense workout since before I got sick four years ago. That’s along time for a body to stay sedentary. I would love to be able to run when I want or lift a decent amount of weight, not the 3 pounders that I can lift right now. My vow to myself, because according to my quote for today, I’m all that matters, is that I will try to do something workout oriented everyday even though I go back to work next week when we start 2-a-days.
- Stretch my tight muscles (& I don’t mean tight in a good way)
- Include atleast 15 mins of cardio (working my way up to 30 mins)
- Include a target muscle toning group (abs, arms, legs, hiney, back)
What’s your goal?
I’m torn between not working out and working out and possibly burning calories that are much needed. I still have weight to gain from my flair up last year. I’d be happy with an additional 10lbs or so. Whatever workout I do can’t burn all my calories but I do need to do something healthy everyday.
So, I’ve been finding Denise Austin’s Daily Dozen to be an easy, light workout and each day she targets a different area. You can find it on Amazon or follow the link. https://www.amazon.com/Get-Daily-Dozen-Denise-Austin/dp/B001GP5TL8
I also found that she has a YouTube channel…yay!!! She has all kinds of workouts! This is my favorite from the Daily Dozen to tone arms and abs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ePvlPZoRlM&index=4&list=PLTc0xIeIYX5JwgCV62oC3aMXa-d1Vn8T4&t=8s
